2026 Mineral Fair – 22nd Edition

Free access to the fair, activities, and the museum!

Saturday, September 26 – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 27 – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Minéro – Thetford Museum | KB3 is pleased to invite the public to the 22nd edition of its traditional Mineral Fair. The event will take place at the Minéro Museum on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the Fair and all activities will be completely free.

Nearly twenty exhibitors will gather at the venue to showcase, sell, and trade items, as well as share their passion with visitors. Minerals, fossils, jewelry, and many other finds will be featured throughout the weekend.

For this special edition, passionate photographers will offer a visual retrospective highlighting the 150th anniversary of the discovery of asbestos in the region. In addition, the organization Chouette à voir! sera présent samedi de 12h à 16h et dimanche de 11h à 15h pour faire découvrir de magnifiques oiseaux de proie et enrichir la programmation familiale.

Visitors will also be able to have their own minerals identified by a mineralogy enthusiast—present on both days from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.—or experience an immersive mine tour via the virtual reality feature offered by the museum.
